Based in Warsaw Poland. Working for 3 years as a manager and public relations representative in marine development where interpersonal skills, communications and Corporate Social Responsibility were crucial as well as building and maintaining high-level successful relationships with new clients.
1992 – 2006
Based in Warsaw, Poland. Interpreted for governmental and foreign bodies during Poland’s process of entering European Union membership.
Included various conferences, talks and seminars where consecutive and simultaneous interpreting was required in Poland and abroad (Brussels Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Berlin).
Interpreted for two polish Presidents – Lech Walesa and Aleksander Kwasnewski, The White House (during President Clinton's two official visits ), OECD training seminars in Vienna and Budapest, The US Department of Treasury etc.
1982 – 1992
Freelance interpreting (Polish, English, French) in London for guests of the Foreign Office – political/commercial as well as an official Scotland Yard interpreter.
Acted as an official interpreter to Lech Walesa during his visit to the UK in 1989 as the leader of the Solidarity movement.
